5 Mins Epoxy is an equal two-part hobby adhesive that forms high strength bonds through a chemical reaction between the resin and hardener.
The cured epoxy is resistant to most chemicals. QUIK-CURE TM is the least temperature sensitive of our epoxies. It will cure in temperature down to 40F.
Temperatures above 90F shorten the working time before the epoxy begins to set up from 5 to less than 4 minutes.
QUIK-CURE TM bonds best to clean, textured suffices. Smooth, non-porous surfaces should be roughened with coarse sandpaper to improve adhesion.
Acetone and isopropyl rubbing alcohol works as the best solvents for cleaning uncured epoxy from surfaces.
QUIK-CURE TM 's lack of brittleness allows it to from lasting bonds on materials as different as balsa wood and glass,
however, it is not recommended for areas subject to long-term immersion in water.
Cured QUIK-CURE TM can be coated with polyester resin without affecting the curing of the resin.
